Davison - John Fletcher

John Fletcher Davison, well known resident of this city, died last night at his home six miles north of the city. He had been ill since October 2nd, from asthma and heart trouble, although a sufferer from asthma for several years.
The deceased was born in this county January 6, 1851, the son of Richard and Rachel Davidson. On April 4, 1889 he was married to Eva Davenport, who died on January 10, 1894.
Surviving are one son, Richard, with whom he lived; one daughter Mattie May, preceded him in death. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the home. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery. - kim h
